What a Knovo score is
A research aid. It reflects publicly available on-chain and market data at the moment a scan runs (liquidity, market cap, holder concentration, trading activity, and volatility), reduced to a single 0-100 number using a fixed set of rules.
What a Knovo score is not
- It is not a guarantee that a token is safe, legitimate, or free of malicious code.
- It does not audit smart contract source code.
- It does not verify team identity, project intent, or off-chain claims.
- It does not predict future price movement.
- A high score reflects favorable market structure by the metrics above; it is not a promise of safety.
Data accuracy
Knovo depends on third-party APIs (Dexscreener, Moralis, OpenAI) for underlying data. These providers can be delayed, incomplete, rate limited, or temporarily unavailable. Knovo degrades gracefully when a provider is unreachable (see Data Sources), but the resulting score reflects whatever data was actually available at scan time, not a complete picture in every case.
Your responsibility
Always do your own research before trading any token. Verify contract source code, team claims, liquidity lock status, and holder distribution independently. Never risk more than you can afford to lose.
